As I begin to blog some of the incredible weddings from a very busy 2016, it reminds me just how fortunate I am to call this my full time job.
One wedding that I have great pleasure in revisiting for my 2016 blog collection is the marriage of Adam & Hannah.
It was a beautiful Spring day in May and Hannah, along with her Bridesmaids and immediate family were getting ready at Whirlowbrook Hall. It’s a stunning venue on the outskirts of Sheffield City Centre with some fabulous interiors, perfect to capture the beautiful details, which included the amazing dress with a deep v embroided bodice above a tulle skirt with a soft champagne gold underskirt, simply stunning.
Adam was getting ready at the couple’s home and soon made his way to Eccleshall Church where he met up with my second photographer to get some shots ahead of the ceremony.
The wedding was beautiful with lots of love and laughter and the church provided fabulous high vantage points from the interior balcony.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests made their way back up to Whirlowbrook Hall to enjoy some time outside in the incredible grounds, made sweeter with the addition of the ice cream, supplied by local parlour ‘Our Cow Molly’. An over sized Jenga and Connect 4 game ensured the guests had some fun whilst I went off with the couple to explore the gardens, which included a fabulous woodland area full of bluebells.
Afterwards everyone was seated for the wedding breakfast and speeches, before relaxing for a short time in readiness for the arrival of their evening guests.
The evening celebrations commenced with the cutting of the cake followed by the first dance, which was a fantastic choreographed piece which entertained their guests, who soon joined them on the dance floor.
The last thing to do before I left was the bride throwing her bouquet to her friends and made a fun end to a wonderful wedding day.
Here are a section of images from this stunning day.
Congratulations to Adam & Hannah
