Shottle Hall Stunning Wedding Day in August

The wedding of Ryan and Kirstie was one that I had been looking forward to all year. The wedding took place at Shottle Hall which was a brand new venue for me.

The day began at Embellish Hair and Beauty Salon on Chatsworth Road in Chesterfield. It’s a fabulous space where brides and the bridal party can go and prepare ahead of their big day..

I spent the morning with Kirstie and all seven of her bridesmaids at Embellish before heading off to Shottle Hall in order to capture some shots of Ryan and his Best Man, who happened to be his Brother.

The ceremony took place outside in the warm August air, beneath the stunning pavilion in the Hall’s grounds.

The day was a fabulous celebration and Kirstie looked sensational in her beautiful fitted gown, Tiffany earrings and designer sandals. Her stunning bouquet was courtesy of JJ’s Flowers.

There were some other really personal touches, including the wedding cake and individual cupcakes. The wedding cake was made by Claire Milner a close friend of the Bride and the cupcakes were provided by another close friend to the bride Michelle who runs Magnificake Bespoke Cupcakes. Both creations were stunning and a real talking point on the day.

It was a magical wedding and I was delighted to have been there to capture the day in all it’s beauty.
